Max has over 7 years of professional tax experience in both the public and private sectors. His responsibilities for Bedford include tax reviews and report certifications, ensuring that Bedford’s cost segregation studies are based on an appropriate interpretation of tax law and current IRS pronouncements. Max has reviewed hundreds of Cost Segregation studies, encompassing a wide variety of property types and sizes. Additionally he will be in charge of leading Bedford’s research and development tax credit division.
Max joined Bedford in May 2015, after serving as a Senior Tax accountant with a multinational IT services firm where he focused on all aspects of both U.S. and International tax. Max started his career at PricewaterHouseCoopers (PWC) in the Cost Segregation division and focused primarily in this for the first four years’ of his career
Max is a member of the American Society of Cost Segregation Professionals (ASCSP). He received both his undergraduate degree in Accounting and Masters Certificate in Forensic Accounting from Southern New Hampshire University in Manchester, New Hampshire.
