Thomas F. Duffy IV
Tom joined Bedford Cost Segregation, LLC in 2018. He brings with him 7 years of experience specifying, purchasing, and analyzing equipment in the power industry. He started his career in energy performance contracting for private and public entities. His responsibilities included analyzing building systems, recommending equipment improvements, and producing reports detailing the projected energy savings versus the equipment’s initial purchase and installation price.
Tom eventually pursued a career designing and specifying equipment for the power industry. He worked on a team designing heat recovery steam generators (HRSG) for natural gas power plants, as well as large power transformers. Working with contractors, fabricators, vendors, project managers, engineers, and procurement specialists has prepared him for his role as a Project Engineer working with property and business owners across a broad scope of industries.
Tom has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Louisville
